A misty, relaxing weekend afternoon spent strolling along the Great Highway, exploring the bluffs and capturing the glowing light was just the perfect Sunday I had in mind to experience with Lauren of Bohemian By The Bay. The day was spent nourishing our bodies at Judahlicious, keeping our eyes open for prevalent succulents nestled between the native plants and essentially bringing our own sunshine to the streets of the (fog filled) outer sunset. The lighting was as bright as our smiles, and the mix of warm air and a cool breeze kept us comfortable all day long during our time spent in this sleepy neighborhood.
As the bright colors of summer are replaced with muted hues, golden jewelry and thick sweaters, I have become completely intrigued with the idea of keeping a closet simple, organized and most importantly, personal. Although we all need those staple pieces, to me it's all about finding a way tailor it to yourself. Like many of us, I fall into the temptation that is Anthropologie every time I walk past their doors. In college, my dream job was to design and create the window and store installations there, so whenever I'm looking for inspiration of any kind, I always end up at here. Put a sale sign up? I'm in and there's no turning back. I lucked out when I spotted this beautifully crocheted sweater and delicate, airy shirt on afternoon. I couldn't be any happier wearing these pieces together, as the feminine details of both capture a dreamy style that I adore.
One of my newest pieces added to my jewelry collection is this hand stamped bracelet made for me by Katie of Simple Stamp. Her collection of personalized items make it just another great reason to support small, independent artists. Be sure to check out her Etsy store and be prepared to love each and every piece she creates in Dallas, Texas. What a great holiday gift, right?!
