Pier 23 Cafe doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you step beyond the colorful entrance and onto the back patio, you'll understand why this place is quite popular. On a warm weekend with a soft breeze, brunch among the pier was simply necessary.
I couldn't help but notice all the blue hues that surrounded me. Blue skies, blue table covers, and that big blue bay. Fresh crab, baked sourdough bread with a side of clam chowder, birds chirping and good company relayed true San Francisco traditions as the sun sparkled on the crisp, sailboat scattered blue, bay waters of San Francisco.
