On Saturday, I had the pleasure to waste away the afternoon in the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason. Not only is the location amazing with sunshine and sailboats galore, Brit + Co. held their second annual Re:Make 2014 Festival. To be surrounded by such amazing positivity and creativity all in one pavilion was a little slice of heaven.
From DIY stations scattered throughout, laughter and smiles, photo booths, cookie decorating and makers with so much creativity forces inspiration upon yourself and others. Visiting over 90 makers (including Alana of Etta + Billie) was a perfect opportunity to shop local while having fun with friends in a unique environment! On top of it all, I witnessed my first 3D printer in action as I walked through doors of the pavilion, how fun is that?!
Technology was a important aspect of the festival which was a great addition and chance to learn a few new things! The event put on by the lovely people behind Brit + Co was such a treat and unique place with pops of color and amazing people. Let's just say...I cannot wait until the next Re:Make to enjoy food trucks, succulent and cactus accented tables, to shop local, paint away, and let my creativity flow.
