Last Friday Brit + Co held their 3rd annual Re:Make conference and festival here in San Francisco and I was so excited to have the invitation extended to me. The brightest colors I've seen with the brightest face paired perfectly during the last day of San Francisco's heat. After I grabbed a cup of Ritual Coffee, I knew it was going to be a good day when I sat down at the table to find watercolor paints, brushes and a large notebook in front of me. I learned so much more than I could have thought at Re:Make and also got to meet up with old blogging friends while meeting new ones to learn how technology and creatively collide.
Second, you can't go wrong with big balloons and tassels attached. It's also hard to get a bad photograph with them too! Also, there is something better than macaroons. They're called mini-macaroons and they are actually the cutest thing ever. WORDS OF WISDOM BY JEN GOTCH
Oh and if you don't know who she is, she is the creative brains and creator of Ban.do. Sorry if I just encourage some shopping. | The first thing I learned is that when you start your morning painting, it is going to lead to a more relaxed state of mind. It's scientifically proven, so you have to believe it. Being afraid of a white canvas was not an option at Re:Make- anything goes! At the conference, I got to hang out with Jen Gotch. Need I say more? She's just as rad as you would think and she gave a truly inspiring message on building a successful brand. Oh yeah, and we did the photobooth together. So there's that too... Even if your not into huge pops of color, saturated hues of fridge tassels make for the absolute perfect backdrop. Period! #Butfirstcoffee - The overall event was organized so well and I couldn't have been happier to meet Brit herself along side Jordan Ferney of Oh Happy Day. I feel refreshed and ready to bring the creatively and style to Sunshine Daydream! |
