Hidden off Highway One lies one of the most unique coffee bars I have ever had the joys of sipping a latte in. A few miles inland from the sparkling coastal highway in Pescadero is Downtown Local. The shop features hand picked antiques, awesome coffee, music playing from the vintage record player and even a tiny silent movie theater in the back which makes it a popular stop for travelers and locals a like. The decor in this quaint shop may just transport you to another place in time, allowing you to admire all things from the past while keeping a very hip and present day feel to the shop. I can not forget to mention that they brew San Francisco's very own Sightglass Coffee! It is well worth the two miles drive off Highway One to catch a glimpse and an espresso at this coffee shop while wildflowers bloom everywhere! A nice stroll around Pescadero is a fun thing to do after, the stop at Pigeon Point Lighthouse!
