San Francisco is known for it's steep hills, it's golden bridge and it's out of this world culinary experience. In fact, there's a collection of 40,000+ mouth watering photos filed under #sfeats on Instagram and every time I check off one restaurant, I add two on my never ending list of places to eat and sip at. Terrible problem to have, right?! Bon Appétit sums it up pretty well...
One of my newest discoveries that didn't only satisfy my taste buds but also caught my eye due to it's airy and bright atmosphere is Tavares. The Brazilian inspired eatery is the new kid on the block in Potrero Hill and it's location is the perfect spot to linger with coffee in one hand and a fork in the other. The Brazilian coffee will have you feeling your best while the food will leave you anything but hungry. I had the pleasure of visiting on weekend morning when the brunch menu was in full force and I couldn't have been any happier (not to say the other menus didn't look equality as delicious!)

Naturally the outside seating patio is equally as beautiful (string lights and all!) The bright art and wooden floors will make you want to stay for an extra cup of joe and the open kitchen area gives the restaurant a homey and natural atmosphere.
