Deep within in Santa Ynez Valley lies the cutest small town perfect for a day of wine tasting, blue skies and good company. Vineyards, coffee shops and tasting rooms make up the small town of Los Olivos, California. From Santa Barbara, drive along highway 154, venture over the San Marcos Pass and through the Santa Ynez mountains and arrive at this adorable country style community. On this day, we started at Beckmen Vineyards and sipped away overlooking rolling hills and a small pond. Then it was time to hit the town square and wind down the day at the intimate Carhartt tasting room in their cozy, quint backyard patio. Oh wow, I discovered Los Olivos too a few years ago and I absolutely love it! It's so quiet and laid back; the little town is sooo cute too. Did you stay in the big b&b there or were you just passing through? My girlfriend and I got a wine tasting get-away package at the time -- I can't remember the name of the hotel, but it was so much fun! Anyhoo -- love these photos, and all the imagery on the blog! You sure know how to showcase California's beauty =)
