The more and more I read about the chemicals and synthetic ingredients in the large majority of skincare products, the more and more I realize that making natural decisions about what goes on my body is just as important as what goes in it. Today I am spotlighting a wonderful Seattle based botanical skincare company that I recently fell in love with. The sustainably crafted products are seriously amazing and don't even get me started on their branding. Could their website and simplistic design be any more perfect? As the fall air becomes more dry and the harshness of winter wind is on the horizon, I especially appreciate a good skincare routine during these times. For this, I had the opportunity to switch up my regiment and incorporate a smoothing Blue Clay mask, sweet Rose Lip Butter, dark gray Bamboo Charcoal soap, Balancing Facial Toner and an amazing Hair Therapy oil. Did I mention that they package all their products in glass instead of plastic? This is something I appreciate greatly and I really enjoy how each order placed is handcrafted, how cool is that? It is so apparent that Herbivore Botanical uses high quality ingredients too. I especially noticed this in the Blue Clay mask and the Bamboo Charcoal soap. I tend to have more sensitive based skin and these products reacted like a dream. The owners Julia and Alex incorporate raw ingredients including everything from Japanese Bamboo Charcoal to Brazilian gemstones to ensure both a natural and a luxurious experience with their skincare products. In addition to the products featured, they also produce bath salts, body oil, serums, balms and more! When is comes to Herbivore Botanicals, less is definitely more.
