This 55 acre botanical garden in Golden Gate Park is divided up into different areas depending on where the plants originated from. You can visit the Chilean garden, Asian cloud forest, a large succulent garden, Australian plants and a California native garden, just to name a few. With secret paths into a redwood grove leading to a meadow of small flowers poking out of the grass, the space is a place to wander and get lost in. After visiting many gardens within the state, I can say this spot is my favorite one.
