Another hidden gem is China Beach. This beach is tiny, so on any given day it may feel crowded, even if there are not that many people there. Once you drive through the narrow streets you will come across a tiny sign that states: "public beach." Follow it down and arrive at a small parking lot. As you walk down the sandy stairs along hills sprinkled in wildflowers, you will see the Golden Gate Bridge to the right and rugged cliffs to the left. This beach is usually slightly warmer because the cliffs tend to block a little wind. At China Beach, any spot in the sand will provide an amazing view! Go exploring to find the many rock sculptures and drool over the stunning house of Sea Cliff.
