Tucked way up along the emerald and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico in the sunshine state, Panama City Beach offers vast opportunities for both a relaxing and exciting vacation. With it's 27 miles of bright white sand beaches, two state parks and dozens of waterfront restaurants serving up local seafood, Panama City Beach (PCB, as the locals would say) is a one stop getaway to daily sunsets and spontaneous southern thunderstorms that seemingly come out of nowhere as lighting bolts light up the sky. During the spring months, PCB is a popular destination for spring breakers and concerts on the beach, so plan your trip accordingly. With an average yearly temperature of 72 degrees, you can guarantee that the weather will be fitting for the beach, but don't forget about the humidity during the warmer times of the year. Visit Pier Park for a more touristy feel and bright colors, drive the scenic 30A highway through Seaside, Florida, play a round of golf, visit the lush conservation park, embrace the vibrant orange sun as it dips into the wavy waters to create a golden glow, or simply relax on the warm, white sand to the sound of soft waves along the pier.
