When it comes time to escape the big city and head to warmer lands, I always have this love-hate relationship with packing. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the process, I actually think it's quite enjoyable...it's my wardrobe that I have issues with. I have my solid set of quality staple pieces, my go to coats and of course a pretty great selection of boots all to survive the harsh winds and foggy days in San Francisco. Take a step back four years when I was living in sun soaked Santa Barbara during college and my closet was the exact opposite. Knee length dresses, bright colors, sandals galore and the most vibrant and beautiful bikini collection I ever had...ahh to be twenty and living on the beach. Fast forward to San Francisco and all those pieces have either been donated or packed in a small box in the depths of my walk-in closet. Hooray for vacations, am I right? Here are my inspirational items when I hit downtown this week, because I have to pick up a few new things, right?!
1. Bloom Swing Dress | 2. Straw Hat | 3. Tropical Foliage Scarf | 4. Sunglasses | 5. Elderflower & Rose Presse 6. Lace-Front Maillot | 7. Raw Edge Hem Dress | 8. Bumble & Bumble Surf Infusion | 9. Romper
How do you go about packing the items you need on a trip? Does the temptation to buy appropriate styles to wear only on vacation ever hit you? Have you ever visited a Florida beach town? What are your go to activities when you arrive in a new place? Please do share any thoughts or questions below in the comment section- I'd love to hear from you!
