The most lovely thing about heat waves in the city is that extra motivation to be outside and soak in the sun in all the beautiful urban areas that encompass this 7x7 place I call home. And to see fellow San Franciscans enjoying the weather at parks and beaches is another perk too. My day was spent here at stunning Alamo Square, home of the Painted Ladies, a row of famous, elegant Victorians that sit just before the skyline. The flowers decorate the park and trees provide necessary shade. This is your go to spot for a quick lunch, a leisurely picnic or even some exercise with stunning views! What a perfect way to end an amazing month.
