This past weekend was spent with family and friends among many unique wineries in Sonoma County. As we started out at our first winery and begun "wine hoping", the sun peaked out of the clouds and by the end of the day it was nothing but clear blue skies. Tasty wine and great company made the weekend very memorable as the warm November sun lit up the colorful orange, yellow and red leaves beautifully as they slowly fell off the trees. From the bubbly of the Korbel winery to ''Dia de los Muertos'' celebrations and candle lit caves of Bella Winery, the weekend was filled with laughter, great food, and delicious wine as we drove along the colorful grape lined hills. For tickets, participating wineries and more information about the Wine Road, check out their website here. I guarantee you'll have a blast, but be sure to rent a large van or a have a designated drive because the wineries are within driving (not walking) distance from each other.
